Wedding Party
Bride's Side
Jen Liuzzo
Matron of Honor
Jen and I have been best friends since high school when we were paired together to write a paper. She obviously carried that assignment, meanwhile I bonded with her mother while eating an entire box of Goldfish. We’ve played soccer, worked drive-thru, and attended the University of South Carolina as roommates together before finally moving to different states. Through it all she has always been by my side during my best and worst moments. It was my privilege to be her Maid of Honor and I am so lucky to now have her as my Matron of Honor to stand beside me on my wedding day.
Abby Lefkove
Bridesmaid
After starting work at the hospital as a fresh physical therapist, I began to bond with an occupational therapist named Abby over our new puppies over our lunch breaks. Abby quickly became my OT work wife, providing support and humor during our long hours of trauma bonding. I am thankful for so many aspects of this professional-turned-personal friendship including the countless hours spent perfecting her birthday mac and cheese recipe, attending Atlanta United home openers, and constant ability to wear wine colored clothing with her both at work and as a bridesmaid at her own wedding.
Dani Steinbrunner
Bridesmaid
Indiana has gifted me so many amazing people in my life, Dani included. I met Dani in our sophomore year of college as part of a co-ed honor fraternity. She has since lived in multiple states that feel much too far away, but I am grateful for every opportunity I have to run through rain soaked Charleston streets, plan surprise birthday/baby shower visits, and have effortless heart to hearts with her no matter where we are. I am truly so lucky to call this kind, caring, intelligent person a friend. I look forward to always taking awkward photos together.
Greg Milton
Bridesman
I grew up looking up to my brothers. As most brother-sister relationships go, the early days had some discord but time and circumstance has repeatedly kept us close and I couldn’t do this day without them. Greg is my oldest brother and I remember loving how much closer we became after he moved back home (twice) and we got to spend more time together without starting a Beanie Baby war. Now, he still lives up the street from me which means I’ve gotten the chance to see him become an amazing husband and father. To paraphrase the immortal words of Enrique Iglesias that you then so unforgettably sung out the passenger window, you can in fact be my hero. Love you! (It softens the blow…)
Nate Milton
Bridesman
As I’ve already expressed, my brothers have been there for me literally since day one and I couldn’t do this day without either of them standing beside me. Similarly, my other older brother Nate and I also grew closer when he moved to Columbia and we frequented the fine Mexican establishment that was Eric’s San Jose while I was in college. Later, we even became roommates for a few months as he and his new wife needed to move in before moving into their new home and starting a family of their own. We may be always trying to outdo each other as part of our Christmas wrapping rivalry, but being such a steadfast brother will always be Nate’s best gift to me.
